Kayak fishing

Alright so another new fishing season is upon us. Im looking for input on good lakes to kayak fish. I dont really want to take the yak on very big lakes like wab, lac st anne etc. Im looking to fish any species possible and will drive about 2 hours from edmonton any direction. Anyway if you guys have any lakes that produce steady fishing opportunities (not concerned about size just want to catch fish) that will be good for the yak let me know!

I liked fishing Wizard when I was in Edmonton mainly because it was small (narrow). I always targeted pike.

I've done really good on the pembina with my kayak. I've fished Wab with it, but to be honest I much prefer my Lund when I'm on a lake, but I really like fishing the pembina for walleye on my kayak.

Go start out at a smaller lake, in no time you will be using it on the big lakes.

Battle is a good smaller size lake. Decent scenery, few boats, decent fishing.
