Default Fawcett Lake Boat Launch

Can anyone please tell me where and which launch is the best one for a bigger boat.
Is that lake still on partial closure on one end until after July 1.

Would it be worth trying for walleye before then in the open area as everything seems early this year?

Have some tags to try to fill on a one shot visit only. Wife only will try once.

I haven't been to Fawcett since the first year it became eligible for tags, but the West end launch was the best place to launch.... It cost $5, but it was worth it.... The East end closure shouldn't matter... Depending on what tags you have, you should have no problem filling them

Don't even bother trying to launch at the east end. Use the west end launch..

I remember 2 launches on the west, provincial one and resort one. Resort one is the better of the two but you pay to use. And they have a dock.

The resort on the west end, worth the $5. The west park launch was in pretty bad shape last time I was there 4-5 years ago. Could do it with a tinner but not a bigger boat.

I would wait till summer, we always caught fish early but small ones, never the big ones...they are up in the closed part post spawn, and they know the drill.

The inlet on the west end is full of weeds and pike.

Haven't been back since it went to draw.
