Default Tay Lake Access?

Has anyone been able to drive right to the lake? I just bought a new inflatable Pontoon Boat and rigged it up. Looked up Tay, never been there. Couldn't see any roads leading in from Maps. I also had Birch in mind. Want to test the boat out on a smaller lake. Going to be mainly using the fly rod. Thanks

I've fished Tay several times and it's about a ten minute walk down to the lake and pretty much all the shore is floating swamp. That being said, a friend and I inflated our belly boats and walked down there last year and wasn't too difficult at all.

You won't be driving in there with a truck. There are a few deep mud holes that you're not likely to get through. We've been there numerous times. Whenever we're camped in the area we do an afternoon at that lake. We drove over on quads with the tubes in a tub trailer. You're better off hitting up birch
