I'm going camping in August to Hinton area and would like to take the kids for a few days of fishing. Regulations on main rivers are catch & release only. Does anyone from that area know of any good fishing spots on any of the creeks there? And what kind of fish is in there to keep for eating during our trip. We'll be only shore fishing with spin cast. Any info on the area would be greatly appreciated.

Your desire to keep fish in an already over pressured may be partly to blame. There's many stocked lakes both north and south if town that I'd recommend you check out.
