Speed on the Nosler is interesting. Have you played with lighter bullets?

I’m talking 85-100 grain....
Nah just between the 130-140 range of bullets

I guess Berger is supposed to release a 155 gr Elite hybrid this year

Crazy high bc and sd probably launching at 3200 FPS

Would be a dynamite combination

The Family is on their way back home to Africa, the young lad is pretty happy with his new rifle.

It cost him a few cattle, but he'll make up for it I'm sure.

Like his Pop's said, a rifle that is capable for all his needs. Much like the 1 rifle idea I have going. Ha

Less my F Class rig,,, I have a sneaking suspicion it's much more fun than the regular go to unit.

Standard 8 twist- 140vld-h. All of mine made it to the target, but I got very similar results to what happened with the 300gr 338's, pushed hard the accuracy and the BC Dropped off. That said, maybe the 140 vld match would have been better, the slightly thicker jacket may help. Since you don't buy a 26 to push 140's slightly faster than a 6.5-284 I swapped bullets and didnt go back.
