Default Two rods found at Policemans Flats

Floated this weekend, there were two rods leaning up against the sign at Police.

My guess is that someone leaned them there while loading or unloading their boat.

Saw them in the morning, and were still there in the afternoon. I assume if you had forgotten them recently that you would have come back already to find them, so I picked them up before they disappeared forever.

They are older rods, nothing fancy, but I am sure someone will be missing them. Hopefully, you see this or the fishing community will have heard about your missing rods.

Send me a message with a general description and we will get them back to their owners.

Cheers

How was the fishing? Sounds like the whole lake is now open were you dealing with much wind?

I took a trip out there this weekend. Not wide open by any means. Here's a couple pics from Saturday, April 13th. It looked like it has started to open by the aerators but the majority of the area had a fresh skim of ice, this was around noon. Maybe opened up enough to fish Sunday though. Hopefully the aerators were running this winter, unless they had them plugged into the trees...

Went to Payne and the south shore is open enough to fish.

Yes Policeman's Flats.

Where did the edit post button go? I can't seem to find it to fix the title on the original post.

But I can see the edit button for this post. Strange.

Wrong place, but thanks for the update! Should be opening up pretty soon.

My niece still feels bad for your tripping mishap and your phone,, though she's now officially addicted to trout fishing. She participated in cleaning the fish and then we fried up her first ever trout, which she gobbled up like it was ice cream. Nice meeting you. Condolences on your phone.
