Default Anyone recommend a good siding company?

Wind ripped my siding off today. Need to get it done in the spring. It will be an insurance claim.

Anyone here around edmonton do siding or can recommend someone?

What types of siding are out there now? What's the pro's and con's?

It happened to me last year. I choose to get the money from the insurance about $8000 added about $20000 and put new a stucco siding called EIFS. The house is much warmer now and such a stucco is much more durable as any other sidding.
Downpoint is that the house has to be "free" from any possible attachments (sheds or similar) and additional costs in case that the windows have no boards (you have either to put boards on them now, or pay more later when you want to change them)

This^^^^^!!

Just make sure your EIFS has proper airspace and drainage. You will recoup the cost quite quickly with energy savings. Makes the house quieter as well.
