If they are for your property to which you have a rough idea who is around spend your budget.
What is your budget ?
Two cameras of less quality allows you to cover double the area.
Even a 'entry level ' camera is leap years ahead of there forerunner. But this demands twice the resources. Just get all the same brands. For batteries and cards. It sucks carrying multiple components for each unit.
If it's anywhere else I'd spend as much as you can afford to have stolen.

For the last couple seasons I have used both U-way's and Moultrie trailcams and I prefer the u-way. Easier to program, though both brands took good pics. The custumer support for U-way is great and when I needed an owners manual U-way sent one out right away.
Try to make sure all your cams use the same batteries and memory cards. I prefer double AA's , but some cams go with c batteries.

Most of the cameras out today work fairly well, depends on your budget and what type of results you are looking for, good luck

spypoing and bushnell HD. great unless it's really really cold, but I buy the cheap batteries so that might be my problem.

I was running some expensive batteries in a few of mine and all the spy points died during that cold snap in november.
For the price I found spy point is the best, very user friendly good battery life (in good weather).
I splurged and bought two U-ways, best camera I ever owned but they are more money.

I find a great difference in battery quality in my trailcams and prefer energizer batteries over all other brands, although I could not find any last weekend so I bought duracells. My next trailcam will be a model that is powered by AA batteries as finding C battery's can be a challenge. Battery's hate the cold weather so I wonder how the AA models will hold up?

trail cams
Reconyx.
Will outlast everything out there.
Expensive up front, cheaper in the long run.
I've got Bushnells, Spypoints. Stealthcams.
Reconyx rules the roost. No comparison.

I love the Uway i bought. Good battery life, built in screen to view/delete pictures right on site. I will get another one at the 2015 sportsman show if they are on for a good deal.

Has anyone found any new cameras that still use a white flash? I have tried 4 different brands with the infrared flash and I still prefer my old white flash cameras.
