Default NAFA Weirdness

I'm trying to log in and I'm getting other people's accounts.

Is there a Gregory from DeWinton or Dennis from SK on the forum? I also had a fellas from IA, ND and IN.

I got on mine okay.. In time enough to see my results anyhow. If I'm seeing what I'm seeing, top-lot go $270?? Next best $140's, $120, had a few $114... poorest about $100 for me.

For my first direct-sales-showing (and not selling to buyers) I'm pretty happy. I missed any of those 10 in the top $270-lot but I did have a fair chunk in the next-best $140 & $120 lots.

Did I read correctly (somewhere in the previous Threads during the February sale) that those NAFA numbers are posted in US-funds??

They were last sale - probably are again. I only had one yote so didn't ship for this sale.

Yes it's always in us funds until after the sale when they convert it.

That's actually pretty decent then. Sure, is down a bit from last sale, but $130 average +/- is nothing to sneeze at. I'm ecstatic my best ones sold for $140US... that's pretty well $180 canadian. I'd take that every day if I could.

Not happy when our SEL lot goes for 44 less than the other ones and now our bought back ones are showing up as sold but with no price on them. Hope someone from NAFA can explain this to me better. Too bad that this action house is the best of the 2 on coyotes, might just looking at shipping to the other anyway.

I would be Gregory from DeWinton. The same weirdness was going on with my account.

Small world, eh? I don't remember anything about your account other than your name and town but I'm willing to bet that you did a lot better than those American fellas. Out of curiosity I looked at one fella's 15 coyotes and he only sold one Semi for next to nothing. I think that we're pretty lucky/spoiled up here.

I agree with this. I read on the American forums where guys were ecstatic-happy they averaged in the $40-range for their coyotes! It's almost unbelievable to see that, I had one frankestien yote in my lot, worst one of the whole bunch that I daddled on junking altogether.. holes & tears enough to make you cry... but, even with the (extreme) amount of sewing I swore through before boarding him, he still brought $47!! That was my one real stinker of a pelt in the whole bunch, so was plain to see which graded as a damaged, but still, I was astonished with $47 for him and not there as a throw-away! I guess it just goes to show how sought after these westerns really-are even-if in tough shape. Shows why the nice ones were up in that $180-relm too.

I hope the market holds for next winter just the same. Definitey good times to be in-it.
