Default waby whitefish

so i made it out to wab yesterday fishing was great in 20 fow just off the drop biggest was 11 pounds 14 oz but we got four that big and many tens and eights went through lotsa bait but what got me is how there was hundreds of whitefish litterally 100% of the time swimming all around on camera and they were biting constant all day like schools of perch i couldnt believe it i didnt know the whitefish were ever that active anyone else gettin this happen? sure was fun saw some dandy perch too i was suprised was there from seven am to eight pm not another soul out was a good day for fishin

wab used to be an amazing whitefish lake ! good to hear they have made a comeback !

I'm just thinking based on his thread title "Waby Whitefish" and no mention of Pike he is the holder of a new provincial record and a few near record whites.

This ..... all in one day ....... would be amazing

or you might be correct ...... he is refering to pike.

Can't wait to see the pictures .....

I'm guessing those wab whites will look allot like northern pike.

oh lol sorry dudes we were fishing pike the whitefish were like 4 pounders lol sorry to mislead yall

we drove on the ice was solid but the snow was pretty deep in spots we did get hung up once
