Default Wabamun Walleye

I took my stand up paddle board out in the 10ft of open water between the shoreline and the ice this weekend. I was able to see a ton of fish. Lots of average sized pike, a couple suckers cruising along side them and even a small walleye in a rocky area. The walleye was probably about 30cm. First time I have ever seen one seen the restocking. All the fish were in about 2-3 FOW.

I also checkout the lake's outlet and saw a tons of small pike, presumably males waiting for the big hens to arrive and spawn. Could be a fish watchers paradise there in a few days.
