Default nsr report may 2/13

nice day on the river this afternoon. river has cleared up a lot and is not so muddy. were cathing jack and wallies at the outfall and my young freiend found out what happens when you pick up a big male in spawn mode. moved to the bank and stood on 8' high icepacks that jammed the shore. lots of big healthy wallies caught today (i pulled in 6 and 2 pike) by almost everyone.

fish cops pulled up to shore and politley checked everyones licsenses and i was told that i can't have my wifes license with me even though its in a seperate folder in my pack (?). they also recorded everyones name and license numbers in a notebook. i asked why there recordeing this info. and was politley blown off and i didn't push it. all in all a great day on the river.

Yeh I went by this morning to this very outfall, and picked up a nice wally, with a couple more hookups. Nice fishing, and nice weather

What kind of boat were the fish cops in? I seen their truck parked at 50 street wit a small trailer. Looked like they had a small boat out?

they were in an about 18 ft. open deck alumminum boat with a little blue trim with no markings whatsoever.

yah I spent the day at Dawson Park and the fish cops stopped by shore, just doing catch and release though. Finally beginning to have success I caught 5 goldeye, 3 burbot, 2 walleye(1 over 8 lbs), 1 pike and a small sturgeon with nothing but a pic rig with dew worms and minnows. I have some pics I will try and post most didn't turn out well cause I had to climb off the bank into the muddy water and didn't wanna drop my iphone.
