Are you sure it's not just flood water?

Went out yesterday and the ice was completely off, the fishing was garbage. Saw guys keeping trout out of that lake, I can't beleive someone would eat a fish from there. From what I could see, a creek runs into the resrvoir, cows S*** into that creek causing the brown colour/manure smelling water.

That was my first time there, I caught a decent 16" bow on my fly rod, which is surprising considering the lake gets hammered from every angle with powerbait rigs. The entire lake was maybe 32" deep as well. Crazy how the fish survive in there, must be the nutrients from the cow manure.
