Default Ghost and Minnewanka

Hey Guys

Everybody tells me about the big fish in both these lakes.
I also hear that its impossible to catch ANY fish in these two
lakes. So I'm looking for some tips/advice. I've got a boat
and don't mind putting in the time!

Thanks

Don't know who everybody is but who ever told you there was big fish in Ghost was referring to some Ghost Lake not by Cochrane.

The odd fish but most lakers are no bigger than the lakers at Spray but fewer and far between. Good luck with that lake.

Minne has some decent fish but you have to put in the hours to learn.

Good luck

I haven't fished Minnewanka for a few years as I'm not a big laker fan but there were lots of decent lakers in it. I caught most downrigging between 30 to 120 feet and my best lure was a tiny gold spoon.

Nice fish, congrats.
I have caught a few smaller lakers, and been skunked many more times.

Maybe you're right on the year, I'm not so good with dates. It was definitely late march, I remember the ice was starting to rot.
