Boat speed question
How fast will a 15 hp outboard push my Lund A14 (15" transom) with a 500 pound load?

I can't give you an exact number. We have a 10' inflatable with a honda 15 on the back. When Im alone with gear she does 19 mph at wide open throttle.

I have a similiar setup. My GPS records my speed at 28-30 Kilometers/hour but with a little less weight.

Slang for aluminum boat.
I have a 9.9 on my 14ft aluminum and it will go about 12-18km/h with 3 guys and gear. It will go an easy 20+ km/h by myself no gear.

Had a 2 stroke 25 Johnson on a 14 ft Lund. Boat was 300 pound plus motor. Had me and wife and baby, and we could do 38km/h on Cold Lake full boar. Id say probably 30km/h.

faster than a 9.9.
why?
Got a 15 4stroker for my 12'er. Top speed on a car topper seems irrelevant
