Default Telescoping rod

I'm looking to get a telescoping rod I can throw in my saddle bags when I'm out riding. When I was a kid there were dozens of versions and choices out there but I can't seem to find any now that aren't junk.

Can anyone recommend a decent telescoping rod?

Shawn

This is what I bought.

They also have 2 smaller versions that are just spinning combos. I got the one which came with a spinning reel and a fly reel. It's always in my car in the summer. Really good quality but the fly line that comes on the reel isn't great. I just took the fly reel out and put in one of my other 5/6 wt reels.

It's great.

I have a couple different ones i use when quadding, but THF has a great selection of different ones. https://www.thefishinhole.com/ click Fishing Rods on the right and Pack or Telescopic.

I have a Rhino 4pc that i got with a kit that i use for the bigger rivers, but my favorite is a shimano exage telescopic. I bought a mini-reel to go with it, so its a nice small rod and reel. The only problem i've had is if i forget to put the tip protector on when i'm riding, the tips break.

If you are just fishing mountain lakes etc and not looking to take anything too large, these little guys from Daiwa are great. Hard case small enough to easily fit in a backpack or saddle-bag. Takes 2 to 6 lb test.
