Question What is the best lighted arrow nock?

I know there are a few different brands but there are mixed reviews everywhere I look. Im looking for the lightest, brightest and most reliable nock. A good price is always a plus too.

I went with the nocturnal lighted nocks, they seem to take the ussuage over and over with out issue and they dont need the grounding the lumenocks and other do. selve contained unit. and nice and bright as well.

Nockturnals seem to be taking the cake over lumenocks. What is the concensus over any of the other brands?

ive actually never had one fail. that said i didnt like the dents that lumenocks put in my arrows, so i went to nockturnals. just as bright and seem to lasting just as long, but without denting my arrows. they are a little lighter too which was nice.

^^^ two small metal probes contact the rear of the arrow completing the circuit of elctricity to turn it on. the probes put little dents in carbon shafts.

Firenock,
Easy too install and turn off, and the brightest in comparison tests with other lighted nocks.

Oh ok, So i shouldnt have a problem with the carbon express Mayhem's because they have the tough nock metal ring on the back?

If you were glue a small peice of foam to the battery would that keep the battery from vibrating around inside the shaft..... Extra work but might help...

the poor flight patterns are not 100 % due to the battery flopping, it has a lot more to do with the weight of the knock. Nockturnals weigh in at 16-18 ounces, lumenok over 10 ounces more than that. The extra weight messes with your centre of balance on your arrow, causing the fletchings to do more work in order to steer the arrow, causing irregular flight patterns. i went to a heavier broad head to compensate. Nockturnals in blue and green really didn't do too much as far as i could tell. my red lumenoks have given me 0 issues and are intensely bright. I have some firenocks on order. apparently brightest on the market according to an in depth test by bowhunter magazine. same weight as lumenok but at least 15% more lumens.
