Not in my reloading room yesterday but I did drive out near evansburg to meet with Al Szautner at his gun shop.Had a great visit with a very friendly and informed hunting / shooting enthusiast. I made some great purchases for reloading my sons 32 special.Good prices and no gouging or upselling. It was a great experience all round. Also did some ice fishing on my way back home lol.

Not so much a reloading room more like a corner…. But I finally am setup and ready to start loading! After a couple months of gathering materials and contemplating if I made the wrong decision with the lack of large rifle primers in the world I have located enough to make my first couple batches of reloads! Doesn’t look like much but I’m working with what I’ve got!

Then when I went to install the Weaver bases I found the holes were smaller than the 6x48 screws which came with the bases. So after a lot of searching I measured the screw which I had extracted and found it to be 3mm. At Canadian Tire I found (4) 3mm x50 screws. So I took them home and tried them; they fit perfect. then I found the holes for the rear base were drilled too close together, then ground out holes in the rear base. To make a long story short a scope has now been mounted. That's my last two days in the reloading room.

Didn't work could not sight in. Scope moving around. Back to plan a A: Redrill holes to 6x48.
I finally got my taps, redrilled and tapped to 6x48. Sighted in and got a 1/2" group.

Is the super trickler any better than the V4 or just more complex. I know it’s a few hundred more than a v4

- I did the musical chairs thing with some scopes moving to different rifles.
- Prepped some 30-06 brass for one of those rifles.
- Tinkered with some 760 308 mags trying to get them to work in my 760 35Remington. <no luck>
- Went through my gun safe and found $900 cash I forgot about. <JACKPOT!>

I wet tumbled a bunch of 22-250, 6.5-284, 270 win, 300wm and 7 LRM all together. I won’t do that again as it was a pain sorting head stamps. As good a job as the wet tumbling with pins does, I find it a painful process sorting the pins from the brass.

I did some clean up and organizing in the storage cabinet and on the bench and on the shelves under the bench, I finally went through a couple boxes from the last estate sale stuff and refreshed my memory, I got a bunch of stuff that's going to go soon, some good some to just give away once I get it all listed on a paper.

I got around to clean up my loading desk. Seems like before you know it everything else is on there that doesn't need to be.
Aaaahhhh, now it is fresh again.
Still trying to figure out what I will do for annealing. Building my own induction, or flame annealer?

Reconformed my 6mmBR , replaced the int'l butt plate with a standard prone butt plate, then reset the front ladder down 6MOA and the rear sight settings at 500 meters for the zero.
Now to load another 150 rounds of 108 AMax's with a boat load of 4895

Well, I broke down and ordered the parts to get an induction annealer going.
My son is into 3d printing, and in electronics class in school, so we will be working together to get a self feed going. Just happen to have an old computer tower sitting there doing nothing, and he needs to complete a few projects for class.
Our 3d order of filament should arrive this week, and he can start setting things up and getting some 10/22 parts printed to work out the settings.
Already have plans floating in the head of what I want it to do and look.

I bought a Ruger #1 in 303 British about 10-12 years ago and finally got around to loading some batches of test ammo for it. 150 grain spitzer bullets by Sierra and Hornady pushed by varying charges of IMR 4064. So far all the rifle has seen is some Federal factory ammo producing 1 1/2" 5 shot groups at 100 yards. It would be nice to see those groups tighten up a bit with my test loads. D.H.
