I liked Barrie, would have liked to see him stay but understand you got to give something good back. Pool Party is going alright and Barrie must be going awww crap. He was on an up and coming cup contender, not so much now. Such is the life in professional sports.

Looking forward to what Ekholm will bring to the team.

Yup. Hope we are stronger after this weeks trade deadline.

Trading Jesse. Good for both.

D trades. Will see the play. Liked Barrie.

Now what’s next?

Well I hope we didn't take to much out of the Leafs or the flamers will have an easy time of it.

Good team game tonight

Nope. You're thinking Sean Monahan. I remember when he took that fight thinking he was gonna get his butt kicked. Monahan's gotta be bigger than Nuge. Nuge held his own in that tilt and he did ok again tonight. Again, Holl certainly looks bigger than Nuge.

Great game. Everything was clicking well and it was way nicer to hear Chris Cuthbert on the play by play....

The window is the next 2-4 years, I would have shoved all in and paid the draft pick price OTT paid for Chychrun, even after adding Ekholm. Unfortunately, the cap issues probably made it a no go.

Nurse, Ekholm, Chychrun in your top 4 is Cup worthy, but it would also be close to $20M per season...

Man, I hear you. I struggle with our play by play guy. When he goes off with his side stories, and trivia of players and past games I have to mute him.

And I think he has a man crush on Debrusk.

Nick Bjugstad and Cam Dineen from the coyotes to the oilers for Michael Kesselring and a 2023 4rd round pick, Arizona retains 50% of Bjugstads contract

And with that transaction, the Oil have exactly $0 in cap space left. That 4% retained by Nashville on the Ekholm trade seemed like an odd number at the time. Now we know why.

And a quote "After the multiple deals, the Coyotes own 11 picks for the 2023 draft, 14 picks for the 2024 draft and 11 picks for the 2025 draft as of Thursday afternoon."
