Default My best fishing week ever

This is my first time posting pictures so hopefully it works. I have never posted pics before but thought you would all enjoy these.

Fished at Sask Landing all last week. It was fantastic. No measurment on the smaller fish, but larger fish was 31". They were both very fat and a lot of fun to catch. I can't believe the fight they both put up.

Wow, some chunks there, very nice. Did you camp at the landing, did the nights cool off?

We camped there a number of years ago in late Aug, my gosh was it hot. Nights didn't cool much, and we didn't catch anything like you did.

Likewise for us last year. Stayed a few nights, wanted to watch the Persiad meteor shower at night and just got devoured by mozzies each night. Good thing we had our trailer with us!

Thanks all for your kind comments.

We camped right in the Sask Landing Campground. Its actually pretty nice with free wood and free hot showers.

Here is a picture of the big fish back in the water. Hope i don't get in trouble because I have it in the water so far away from my body (lol)

I know the water is high right now and Sask Landing is a great spot
and popular for fishing......

I was wondering if you require a Jet Drive there or is it ok to
use a Prop / Drive.

Not sure now deep the area is.

I know many say ..... be careful and your ok with a Prop but
i also have heard about alot of dragggggging going on with
conventional type set ups.

.......thanks in advance for the reply

There was a derby there over the weekend and I didn't see a single jet boat. Lots of $$$$$$$ Rangers and Lunds. You do need to watch for floating wood though. We fished mostly 15-18 fow. Its very deep in spots.
