I’m thinking them or Aron. Team shimano. They had some motor difficulties last episode that cost some time. Gonna be close again either way.

Putting my money on the Conrads as well. Them fellows don't dick around, they just simply put something nice in front of fish and they bite.

Have never been more excited for anything in my life. 39H Pt 1 is the best "tv show" I've ever watched. Very curious how Peric and Haatja do as Team USA. Alumacraft putting up big money for this, so Jay gets subbed in because he's Alumacraft Pro Staff and Aaron had a falling out wth them and moved on to Warrior Boats, so they'll be using Jay's boat. I will definitely miss Manny tho. Would have enjoyed he and Schick as a team...

That's why you pay 5 to $7,000 a week to fish those kind of lakes though.

The big difference I see in this season is there are three 13 hour fishing periods over a few weeks, not 39 hours continuously. I believe that’s what gave the Konrads the opportunity to fly somewhere for one of the periods. It would be too risky otherwise. Bad weather socks you in and it’s done.

I suspect they moved it to this format as driving all over while that sleep deprived would have been dangerous, but it does reduce the excitement and urgency of the tournament a bit.

I believe it's over 3 days, but not a few weeks. It'll be 3 days with some sleep thrown in the mix, for everyone's safety.

Great series so far! I think all teams involved have the same opportunity as the brothers (fly in lodge) if they choose to do so. With that being said, you could also argue the advantage these other guys have over the brothers with time spent on the water.... the Conrad’s aren’t actual professional’s are they..? I’m looking forward to them hitting Dief. again for trout and Walleye. My vote is the Geeks again!!

I've lost track of how many aerial-fish shots we've had in this season of 39H. Incredible, all the flying fish. I was begging for MB to steal the pike point on a random stocked-trout lake...would have been HILARIOUS, with the Konrads going way the heck up north on a "gimme" trophy lake.
