I must agree with you. I love to see them in the wild. seems when someone sees one its KILL

last week 2 bears attacked a calf elk , don't believe they look for the sick ones. Bears kill more calves every year but seems to go unnoticed.

An adult wolf needs 15-20 deer/ year, up to 10lbs/day.
AB has approx 4500 wolves (est)
Thats alot of venison.
A pack or two can decimate a area pdq.
Bears do take some ungulates, but just way more wolves then bears.

It's a balance in nature and if a wolf or whatever a hunter wishes to legally take than so be it.

The area I hunt in has a bounty for wolfs and coyotes as the balance got a little out of whack.

Now back on track, nice wolf!!!

Yes, its a very nice DEAD wolf. In my tree stand last week calling moose, a pack of about 6 or so came in looking for the cow moose. Unfortunatly they made me before I was able to get a shot.

I think u took my statement the wrong way. I believe more wolves need to die. I just can't get myself to hug them, they have a pretty strong odour....
I got a little frustrated again this year moose hunting, way more wolf tracks than anything else wherever I walked. Wolves answering to my moose calls.

I have a wolf that looks exactly the same color on the wall but I never once felt or heard any of the demeaning crap towards wolves that's so common on this forum. They are a real trophy treat them like one.

You cannot be serious?

Are you trying to make the op feel guilty for hunting in a legal manner? Because that is a ban-able offence.

OP, congratulations on a great wolf.

Wolves kill bears, bears kill wolves, wolves kill cougars, cougars kill coyotes, wolves kill coyotes. It's all very natural. They have competing interest. Same as man.
I think your lost.
