Default Slave Lake

Hey guys and Gals....

Wondering if anyone has some up-to-date info on the ice conditions @ Slave....

How much snow?

Need Auger Extensions?

Guys getting on with Quads...or sleds only?

Truck trails?

Any info would be greatly appreciated in selecting gear for the weekend....

Thanks

Defninlty need extension. You can get around in a truck if you watch of for some of the drifts. Bring a shovel and you should be good to go wherever you are trying to get to. I was fishing the east end of the lake and the walleye are slow.

Default Quad

I am heading up there this weekend with some people who have been there the last 2 weekends or so. You need a quad or sled. They have tried the truck thing and got stuck 2 or 3 times. Fishing was good 2 of 3 days last weekend. They said I won't need an extension but I have heard otherwise. Hope this helps. BEL
