Default Pigeon Lake flood ice conditions?

Just curious if anyone has been out and if this recent cold snap(s) have inproved the flood ice?
I was out around the 14th and there was 8-10" of flood ice/slush to deal with which wasn't fun.

I would like to get out and attempt to fill a couple over 50cm tags

I was out on the 2nd. They got at least another 6"-8" of fresh snow the day before we were there as fresh powder was very abundant. So much so hit was bottoming out on the Venza on the secondary highways coming in and out. No improvement on the ice conditions as of last week. Surface water everywhere.

Not sure if the cold snap that came through last weekend would have helped? It did dip down below -30C for 2-3 days.
