You could drive onto Gull at Brownlows, there are enough packed trails for a 2wd. Ice is about a foot, maybe a bit over. Not sure about Sylvan, probably go and check it out tomorrow. Let me know if your up for some fishing...

Was out there on Boxing day and got on at Brownlows with the Quad. There is a trail heading Northward to the point. Trail stops about 1.5 kms from the point. Snow is drifted in some spots. Lots of trucks and a few cars driving on and off but not venturing far. Some people did walk on.
I went further out on the lake and met with another bud who had his sled out. He had a couple of holes about 10-12ft apart. At one hole, the Ice was 8" while the other hole was about 14"
Did not come across any Pressure ridges, but it's still early.......
Use extreme caution as Ice is not uniform further out on the Lake. Play it safe out there !
