Default Perch fishing near Stony Plain

Hi. I know people are very secretive of their perch honey holes but I'm new to ice fishing and can't find any Perch within an hour of Stony Plain. Just looking for someone who might feel generous...tis the season. PM me please I'm desperate!

Long Island lake just north of Westlock has Perch, not sure of the size. Been told up to 12", if you have a snowmobile you can get into Boloque lake just north east of Long Island Lake.

Heard spring has lots of good perch 9inch+ but you'll have to dig through the plentiful rainbows to find em...I'd try about 15 fow with small jigs tipped with maggots

I think Wabamun would be your best bet within 1 hour, can't keep any though. I got one there this weekend while fishing for jacks, about 100m out from the pier in wabamun among all the other tents.

Thanks for the help I think I'll try Long Island Lake. Done Wabamun before and Spring apparently doesn't have anymore Perch. Thanks again.

I don't think there are any really good perch holes within 1 hour. I believe I have tried most of the options within 1 hour and haven't been able to find a good lake. They are all overfished and full of stunted perch and you have to get lucky to catch anything over 8 inches.

I've tried alot if these lakes that are really close with zero results for perch. Some nice trout and jackfish but hard to find the Perch. Lessard is sounding promising. Thanks for all of your great advice. I will definitely use it...hopefully soon when it's not -30!

Braybray. I like Devil's Lake for pike. It's close and lots of action. Not always the biggest pike but it's fun!
