Default Fishing weights

A little info I came across.
BISMUTH is as heavy as lead .
If you have an aversion to using lead for weights you can use BISMUTH. I'm not sure just who all makes BISMUTH weights but I have seen some coming from England in different shops I have been in at times. BISMUTH is as heavy as lead but doesn't have the toxicity.
Have a read on this

I really like Loon Deep Soft Weight. It is tungsten based. Really easy to add or take off weight. Reusable as well which is nice.

I like to tie my heavy flies with tungsten. Non toxic and heavier than heck.

Bismuth is not as heavy as lead, it is ~80% as dense in its pure form; when mixed with other compounds to make it useable it often ends up around ~70% as dense.

Food for thought.
