The prawns I used were raw, but I simmered them with some garlic powder for about 10 minutes.

The ones in the shrimp rings are pre-cooked, but if you wanted to flavor them up a short simmer (not boil) with garlic or anything else you want to use shouldn't hurt

Yep, they work right from the box...additional flavor is completely optional

I would eat them thawed with cocktail sauce or something like franks hot.

Or you could fry them with garlic and butter for a few mins

Ive never seen marshmallows floating in the lakes either, but the trout seem to like them for some reason even seen garlic flavoured ones. just kinda weird. But I do remember hearing of some little kid who was fishing off the docks in Glenmore and nailed a 15 pound rainbow on a marshmallow so who can say. Maybe they imitate a really fat shrimp or something

8 oz (or more if you want a dipping sauce) of Black Tower wine, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 tablespoon of butter, combine in a small pan, heat till just under boiling, drop shrimp in ONLY for a couple of minutes as they will shrivel up and turn to rubber. The goal is to have your shrimp nice and warm, not heated right up. I love Black Tower and made this one up over the years. Better than garlic powder is to take two small cloves of fresh garlic, mince them up, add them to the heated butter and wine.

I used some big arse prawns that I had in the freezer, but they were raw. I simmered them for a few minutes, then chopped them up into roughly 1/4" or slightly bigger chunks. Seemed to work on the brookies pretty well

Make sure you add Baileys to that cup. It helps the day go a little better.
