Default Still learning to spell...

Nice Pics. My wife and I were out there last week and had a gas, other than loosing an anchor. Looks like you spent some time at Pegleg. Water was sure getting tight there. Crowded but lots of fish being caught.

Awesome pictures! I just got back from Chilliwack about 4 weeks ago. Shoulder to shoulder for the most part but found a nice logging road to a sand bar. Saw a couple 7 foot sturgeon hooked too. Awesome sockeye run this year! Continued to the coast to for some pinks it was a great trip as well so I thought to share some pictures too

It was just "okay". The spot was beautiful. Was able to wade out to a sand bar in the middle of the river that dropped down into a deep hole. The other bank side was a solid rock wall. Way to windy for the fly rod though and the current close to me was quicker then the drift I was trying to fish.. soooo all in all it was tough fishing, only pulled 3 grayling out. Definately want to try it out again though! People were pulling them out with there spin reels consistantly.

The fish in the box is a chinook. Very broad tail, and spots. Coho have silver flecks on their tales and VERY little spots if any. Also coho are usually streamlined, and that fish is a big, thick hunk of muscle. The chinook is also turning, and they turn darkish-black, coho usually go purpley/red.

NICE FISH THOUGH.

ya I see that wow this is an old thread. I guess this was my second post on this forum but I remember it like it was just a few months ago posting on marlin1's thread here. Sorry to hear about your loss marlin1. Glad that you guys got to share memories like this together. This trip is one that will stick with you forever.
