Was thinking about trying Devils lake this weekend just NW of Edmonton. Does anyone have any experience with this lake or had some luck catching pike and perch there this year??? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
i find its a very fickle lake some people will catch fish and some won't im in the last catagory have tried it a few times caught alot of jacks no perch no walleye and no whites. keep to the tracks though alot of springs in that lake if no luck there maybe try lake isle hope this helps good luck. p.s i was also told the south side of the lake is best.

i agree, i've been out a few times, we catch a ton of hammer handles (i'm not kidding when i say hammer handles). we usually fish the south shore west of the boat launch, i've never seen any walleyes...some days are good most are not...
