Default its september and im back.

back from a fishing hiatus. travelling and doing family stuff, and i havent been on here much lately. so its september the leaves are starting to change color, and the fish are starting to stock up and get ready for winter, and spawning (and im sure some sepcies are already spawning)

So my questions for you guys are: Who has had some luck so far this time of year and where??

and what type of fish are spawning?

Assuming your in the Edm area;

1) Wabamun is still very good but the pike are biting a lot softer and seem to be a bit less active - water temp is down from the 72 (summer range) and in the mid 60's already.

2) Pigeon is still pretty good for walleyes - again the temp is down but the wally's are still feeding actively.

3) NSR and local trout ponds seem to be slooooooooooooowwww
