wow nice gators, would love to get one like that. me and a buddy got into one about that size a few weeks ago at slave and after a 15 minute or so fight it decided to snap the 20 lb braid right as i was going to net it, oh well, anyways congrats on the monster

Usually the female 20lb+ that i have caught are short and fat...The males are long and some what skinnier...Just looked like a male....not in all cases but that is just what i find.

Mine was just about 41.5" and same thing with the thickness, fat fat fish. I can see yours was a different fish than the one i got, look at the dorsal fin on mine and it has a small gap at the middle, yours doesn't. That's good, tells ya there is more than just one swimmin around there, lol.
