Default Newport Vessels electric trolling motors

Just wondering if anyone is using them? Time to replace the Motorguide I bought a decade ago. I don't need to pay an extra hundred bucks for the digital optimization thing on Minnkotta. They can be built for $20-40, so I will be going for that.
For the money I'm thinking it is worth it. I only push a 12' aluminum and a 16' plastic canoe, so it will have an easy life.

When I used to have a canoe I used the Minn Kota endura. Imo it can't be beat for $139 (Cabela's on sale right now) I used to run it with a Costco group 31 and it would keep me going all day on wabamun.
