I've seen the pictures and it's supposed to be the largest elk ever taken by a female hunter, the largest ever taken in Canada, and 4th in the world. I was in provost yesterday and saw the carcass go by on its way to the butcher. Apparently all the magazines are trying to get her story in their publication.
This bull was taken in Saskatchewan in a very limited entry draw - only 8 tags given out. Congrats to the Hunter!!!!!!

Actually BigRedJeep-- there were only 10 either sex tags in that zone if in fact it was 46. There were more cow tags but only 10 bulls. Good for her and great luck to be drwn with 10 tags.

Meh, I've shot bigger. I had two in the back of my black dodge dually at the same time once.
Or......wow. Congratulations. That is a fantastic bull!

Holy mackerel. !
It's a mutant. ...
Don't think she should eat it...

I will offer to dispose of the contaminated mess
Congrats to her

Unreal..and sounds like a low pressure zone to Hunt. Not only will the Magazines be wanting to publish this article but i bet The Taxidermists are bidding to recreate this Monster on a pedestal..
Congratulations to the Lady who Harvested this Bull.
