Default Bushnell Trail Camera - Repair Service

Has anybody had any dealing with Bushnell Service Dept for camera problems?

I have 7 Bushnell Trophy cameras, which I've used for about 8-9 years.

I really like these cameras, but recently I've run into issues with two of them.

One camera had moisture get into it. When I pulled the memory card, there was 3,800+ images, and the last image had been taken just the day before. So it was still working. Problem is, the moisture seems to have messed up the display. Because of that, now I cannot check or adjust any settings.

The other camera was also still working, but had a short in it, causing excess battery drain. It functions ok otherwise, but it's burning up a new set of Lithium Ion batteries inside a month (when they should last a year).

This buck was 'shot' with the camera that's draining batteries too fast...

I would say you got your use out of them eight or nine years is a long time for a trail camera don't think they'll do much for you for free

I know the warranty is expired. Not looking for free repairs, just asking about users experience dealing with their repair dept.

Fyi, Bushnell contacted me and offered to replace both cameras (which are 8mp), with new 14mp cams, for $142 each.
Which I chose to do.
That's considerably cheaper than retail, so a pretty good deal.

Are good for what? - I bought one last week took 400 pics in 4 days and batteries at 25%, I guess they don't like the cold. Pics are decent enough but she is thirsty on the batteries, my Moultrie ones will go 3-4 weeks in the cold taking the same pics.

OP - I have one of the first trophy cams and was good compared to what was out there at the time, it took a lot of pics and abuse from bears and elk. Still works but seems slower to function, also has a loose power wire. Had to make new strap brackets with jb weld and nails , also gave it a camo pattern.
I sent one back to Bushnell as it would run on and take pics until the card was full when ever it felt like it, replaced with no issues. I still use this one sometimes but have since switched to Moultrie.

My buddy put his camera away with batteries in it for two years. A big mess ensued with batteries leaking. He then puts in fresh batteries without removing much green powder from the battery compartment and turns the thing on. A fire melted the plastic around the springs holding the batteries.
He then does a haywire repair to try to get the thing going and it is fried!
So, he sends it to Browning with a sob story. Three weeks later a new camera shows up at his door. Not bad for service!
