my first bull - caught at the end of a long day of lots of fish, great scenery, and chilling temperatures in the southern slopes

First real fish in the boat (didn't count dogfish and cod as real fish)

Default 20 inch bow

proudest catch was a 20 inch rainbow, why because i caught her first cast of the day, she put up a great fight, not the biggest of the year, but the fight of the year. very memorable

I totally sucked at catching anything big this summer, but got out LOTS with the family, which was so rewarding and fun, and was proud as can be of my six year old and her first walleye!

Tons of nice fish this year, can't decide on a pic but heres good one. Rainbow taking on a nymph with the 4 weight, ran me out to my backing... crazzy fighter/3 feet out of the air jumper.

My favorite fish of the year has no pictures because I lost it about 10 feet from my belly boat. It is the only fish to take me into my backing ever and it did it 3 times. Once it hit the surface my jaw dropped. I kind of panicked trying to get it landed and forced it to much and it ended up spitting the nymph with one quick head turn on its way back to the bottom. It would have been easily my biggest fish on the fly rod.

I didn't even bother to get a licence this year, but I can be a proud mom to my 9 year old who caught his first pike weighing in @ 13lbs. The look on his face says it all!

The one shot I really wanted was the 33" bull on a 4wt in the Carbondale but of course I didn't have any camera with me.

Second best would be the thick 20" cuttie out of the Elbow of all places.

Well, here is one of three lakers I caught in the Bow this year. I guess I consider it my proudest catch because it's a bit of an anomaly fish, and a fairly rare catch.

I was happy to catch my first Golden Trout this year. Not big, but pretty.
