-30 on the deck here on the acreages just north of Edmonton. This real cold weather is great for killing pine beetles, and lots of other nasty invasive stuff that can survive in warmer weather. It is also supposed to be good for killing off lots of virus strains. That said, hope it starts to warm up this month. A lot nicer being outside at -10 than -30.

One -38 going through the valley by Donalda early this morning. Still -36 east of wetaskiwin a bit. The end of the 2 week forecast looks like a mirage in the desert. I think I saw a couple +7's and rain. Fingers crossed. Sick of the cold like everyone else.

-30 here, hoping that this is the last time we see -30 until next winter. The 14 day forecast looks much better.

-32 feels like -40. They said it was one of the coldest February's on record. Thats fine.. the cold had its time in the spotlight. Its March now, and it can F off now.

-36C And I mentioned to my wife that I am glad we have been back from Palm Springs for a month because there would have been a good chance of freezing in the septic tank.
