2012 Fly Fishing Conclave & Banquet

We are a non profit membership organization who’s mission is to promote the pleasure, fellowship and sportsmanship of fly fishing and it’s related activities. We endeavor to provide a recreational and educational forum for fly fishing ideas and techniques as well as to promote conservation, preservation and enhancement of fly fishing resources.

In order to fulfill our mission we are hosting the 2012 Fly Fishing Conclave & Banquet, March 9th & 10th 2012 at the Lethbridge College Barn.

With last years event we were able to donate approximately $3000 to local child & youth outdoor education programs and would like to donate more to the same cause this year with your help

Friday March 9th, 2012
We are very excited to be presenting the 2012 International Fly Fishing Film Festival http://flyfilmfest.com/IF4/.
-doors open at 6pm, (cash bar)
-various games (hootchie toss), static displays and socializing

Saturday March 10th, 2012
Conclave

-doors open at 9am
-coffee and snacks provided
-informative presentations on fly fishing activities presented by Jeff Currier – Author, Lecturer, Artist and Fly fisherman

Jeff Currier resides in Victor, Idaho with his wife Yvonne where he bases his globe-trotting career in fly fishing. He is an active member of the Ross Professional Advisory Team, Scientiific Anglers Products Advisory Team, Yellow Dog Adventures Advisory Team, a fly fishing lecturer and well known fish artist. He has taught the skills of fly fishing, guided fly fishers throughout
Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park and escorted fly fishers on six continents. Jeff has fished in over forty countries and caught over 275 species of fish on the fly!


Banquet

-cocktail at 6pm (cash bar)
-buffet style supper at 7pm
-auction, raffles and more socialization
