Just a couple small ones over here, biggest fish is around 5 1/2 pounds about a half hour ago, pretty sad but it gives hope to get in the money easily. We're over by the islands with a small trailer and a white f-150.

Had a great time with the family, 5 of us caught about 25 fish! My youngest brother was on em this weekend, caught a bunch and ended up winning the youth

The fish and wildlife guys were out and donated a free fishing rod and reel to every youth that was entered in the derby!

Thanks Gordon, and the rest of organizers for putting on another fun event!

Got to love it,getting kids involved..Good on F&W.For without those kids getting involved in the sport i feel that our sport will die a slow death.

Thanks guys.

Ya wasnt expecting to pull a walleye up thats for sure.I was in 10 feet of water and was using a smelt on a tip up.That was the only walleye i got that weekend. One other guy i met out there got one over 6 pounds he said.My biggest catch was that burbot at 6.2 lbs.Was pretty short but its head and front half of the body was fat.Wasnt happy when i saw the 8.7lbs on the board at the weight in station LOL.
