Default Bow river winter fishing

So with temperatures forecasted to be in the plus 7-10 range for Canmore, Calgary area who is panning to do some winter fly fishing on the bow?

Oh it was just a bit upstream from where i got this one in the fall of course. Most of the Bow fishes well. Exploring is half the fun

Neat! Hopefully I can catch some trout as well this weekend. Are the trout pretty slow at this time of year? Kinda like you have to land the fly right in their face to get them to commit?

Try the water just where the chop starts, although this snow will now drive them into their winter holes for a bit.

Don't get technical in the winter. Stick to a pool and work it.

There's fish like those in the Bow from the Bearspaw Dam all the way to Bassano IME.

If you want some specifics or a guide PM me.

I do love the Bow. Don't post a lot as I don't take pictures of every fish just a few that look interesting.

Pretty fish Lornce.
I fooled one of those leech eaters too (but I'm afraid of nets)
