Default northern Ab/Sk fishing

I am looking for ideas of places to go fishing in either Northern Ab or Northern Sk. Drive to preferred but would also look at portage in or fly in if necessary.
Looking at taking my son and other father/sons/daughters.
cabin and boat rentals a must. We can cook, clean fish etc ourselves.
Looking for good walleye and pike, Lakers/graying would be a bonus.
Any hints/tips/suggestions appreciated.

Thank you.

If you don't mind fly in, check out Ubiquity Lake in northern Saskatchewan. You will have an awesome time. Drive to Buffalo Narrows and float plane from there. Good luck.

I can recommend two drive-in lakes, about the same distance from Edmonton. I've been to both. On the west side of Saskatchewan, Forrest lake Outfitters at the headwaters of the Clearwater River that lands up in Fort McMurray. On the East side of Saskatchewan, Nordic Lodge, Where my brothers and I have been going for the past 14 years.
