Shaw direct LMB upgrade

I took my portable dish and receiver camping this weekend to catch the Rider game on Sunday. I haven't used this setup since last summer and trouble getting a signal I eventually figured out all I could get was HD channels oh well game on.
I was wondering why I couldn't get the standard channels gave Shaw a call found out my home hadn't received the new LMB upgrade, Two techs came out installed the LMB now I get a bunch more HD channels how long ago this happened I don't know. The Techs told me they changed frequency to foul up the snowbirds in the US with an old LNB you will only get standard or HD channels but not both.

My camping dish has an old LMB that couldn't pick up the new signals no biggie I won't need again till next labour day. BTW you can check if you need the new LMB by going GUIDE>channel 988 if it says to upgrade give them a call.
