Default Brownlows

Was at Brownlows today, was like grand central station, trucks off, trucks on, ski-do's and quads were everywhere. Did land one nice pike,, 3 small perch , saw more pike and perch on the camera. Ice was a solid 18-20 inches, good getting on, but boy was it noisy .

I was there too.....love it when a truck blasts past the tent and you hear a nice cracking sound from the ice below your feet. Just waiting for a 7-Eleven to open up shop on the ice at Brownlows now....

Was at the NE. end side of the lake yesterday. From what it sounds like, def not as crowded as Brownlows. Got skunked Fishing buddies had a couple on but lost them, I saw a few but the whites just seemed uninterested at biteing or even looking at a hook yesterday. Saw one small pike no perch. A few days after the full moon will slow the bite down most of the time.

Could any of you guys tell me what the big draw is to the spot near shore to the right of the road, there are tons of permenant shacks and people in general, how deep is it and what do people catch? Or is it just convenient to pull your shack off late in the year?

Cause its easy, thats why people just stack themselves up there. Move away from the crowds, and get into the fish...

Been on the ice since early morning. Seen a few perch and pike. I watched pike spit out hook. Moved 4 times not much luck they aren't interested. I just want to catch something then put it back. Anyone see anything else today

I wasn't at brownlows but I was nearby. Caught a couple dozen perch, 4 whites, and a small pike. Saw a bunch more pass by the hole.

Definitely a good day to be on the ice.

Just this one:

Was the first perch and also the biggest. Took him home and one white, the rest went back for next time. Didn't really catch anything of real size but was still fun.
