upper and lower kananaskis lakes

Has anyone been fishing the kananaskis lakes in the last few days? How are they fishing? Which lake will be better to take my 4 year old to for some casting from shore? We will have her spin rod and my fly rod with us.

I went on Sunday to Lower K. The fishing turned on for an hour. I only managed to catch one for the day but it was a monster. My buddy caught a couple fat 16 inch cutties on a dry.

Yes, we had a boat but had the action when we were fishing from shore
