Prospecting around Nordegg area?

Hey guys, looking for a little information on prospecting in the Nordegg area? With all of the awesome waterfalls, creeks, etc.. I would assume they have a lot of nice fine gold, and maybe even some hidden gems and other cool rocks. I heard the area could possibly have some ammolite ! Any personal experiences or educated predictions?

Dunno, but I assume much is based on the age of the local formations and the Rockies are pretty young to bare much gold I thought
