Default Reelwing flying decoys

Hi everyone.
Love this forum. Great posts and contributions by many.

Again I'm wanting to build that decoy spread.
I'm thinking if adding some flyers. I see Whiterock decoys has a cool flyer.

But was wondering if any one here has used Reelwing flyers at all. How was its quality, how was your results.

Any input is appreciated.

Dude from BC...... CSM

I see they have motion poles for them now. The few times we put them up they were more of a pain than a help. The ones we used were on a string like a kite.
Have to have the right wind for them, which isn't often anyway. I can see using them perhaps for traffic birds to attract them, but, on a field where the birds are coming there anyway, somewhat pointless. Sillosock flappers can be had for 30.00 ea in Canada.

Nice Pup Threeforthree!
I'm curious how you do with those style flappers. Looking to try something new for snows this year. I wonder if you had a brown one if it would help with the specks much? But like you say, some days it works and the next it don't

They sure have its moments, I have the snows ,blues and juvies, specs have no trouble landing in them. Its way better with the motion poles, I got 14 of them so in wind its very busy. in the field.

Cheap too for the added motion. I might grab a half dozen or so to try and add some clones next year maybe.
Where is the best place to get them price wise and how long are the poles?

Default real wings

real wings are garbage....

More trouble than anything.

Sillosock flyers are good and work.
Feather flyers work well, bit more sturdy then SS flyers.

Send me a PM. I am selling over 12 SS flyers, Some well used, some barely used. Some original style, many new style.

Just had a waterfowlers garage sale and missed these on the top shelf in garage. It might be a bit to ship , but these flyers can be taken apart and are light so shipping may not be bad from MB
