A buddy pulled one out of the Brooks aqueduct and it was near the size of a standard football......And there were tons of them in numbers and in that size.....

When we were walking back to the truck I noted a lot of the carp in the grassy areas where guys had left them to rot.

How/where are you catching them in Blood? I haven't caught one yet in there (not targeting them at all), but find baby carp in almost every trout I keep.

Caught one today in the Red Deer River, right in town. Osprey food now.

Just seen on the news this morning an 11 yr old boy caught a carp a couple days ago in the St. Albert area about 16lb. and 76 cm long. I'll bet if a pike seen that one he would just stage right....LOL.... Would like to have seen a pic of it

Just curious if you used bait or managed to get it with a lure? I've caught one, but only by foul hooking it by accident.

I caught it on a streamer that I was using to catch goldeye. Might have been a fluke.
