Awesome pose. Marco sure can work magic with those big floppy ears... Beauty by the way...

Just a question though are those a ton of long hairs hanging off the the edge of the mount.. where the mount meets the wall on the 1st pic.??

Great deer. To me its difficult to play around with a mule bucks ears and still make it look good but I really like the way yours turned out. Congrats!

I believe that the long hairs are left over from the winter before. I shot a mule buck a few years ago in velvet, It had long hair scattered throughout the cape as well.

Basically got lucky. Spotted the buck and watched him bed down. So I snuck down wind of him and crawled with in 10yds of him. Then I managed to figure out that his back was to me. So I just stood up and waited for him to give me an opporunity. And an hour and half later! He stood and it was a chip shot. LUCKY!!!!

Thanks for the comments! When Marco gets back from the states on Monday. I'm sure he'll be on cloud 9 with the comments made. Shooting it was easy compared to Marco bring it back to life!
