Default Angles Atlas and My Catch App

Haven't used app yet but used the website to log my catches this morning. Able to add notes, picture, and tag sites. Seems to be private so no one can poach spots and plus is data is shared with fisheries research.

Using mostly as a log. Anybody else use and have hints or recommendations on use?

Looks like the two don't link. Don't waste your time use only platform you wish to use. Unless I did something wrong. I used a google login
Edit----Manually logged in app and now works linked to website

My App Store has “my catch by anglers atlas” kinda a purple icon with a white fish. Is that the one you mean?

Looking at it quickly it looks like it’s basically a map of all possible places to fish. Plus whatever data is transferred to researchers and the ability to make a journal of your trips.

Kinda reminds me of iHunter.

I wrote an article with Angler’s Atlas recently about the MyCatch app. Its a good app for logging your trips and catches but the biggest benefit is helping biologists with managing our lakes and rivers. Take a read and let me know what you think:

I tried signing up but it won’t send me the email confirmation. Checked junk mail folder too it wasn’t there. So I tried a second email address and same thing. I can’t log in because I didn’t confirm the email, can’t confirm the email because they didn’t send it or I didn’t get it.

I give up.
