Trout is commonly stocked in alberta. (Rainbows, Cutthroats, Browns, Tigers, Brooks.)
Rainbows, Browns, Tigers and Brookies are stocked every year.
Cutthroats are stocked every two years.
Bulls and arctic Grayling are stocked every 4-5 years.
Dolly Vardens were stocked in Chester Lake a long time ago but they have manage to spread to Smuts Creek and Mud lake.
Walleye are stocked once in a while to designated lakes, but no musky in Alberta. We use a tag system for walleye in some lakes.
Bass were stocked back then in Island Lake and I have heard of people still catching them these days.
Out of all these fish, only the walleyes, Cutthroats, Bulls, and Arctic Graylings are native to Alberta.
